IMPACT. EQUITY. STRATEGY.
THE TW COLLECTIVE
Impact comes from systems that work. Equity is not a statement. It is the structure that protects retention, trust, and innovation. We partner with organizations to fix what breaks culture and to build pathways that keep underrepresented talent in the room.

The Woman Behind The Collective

The TW Collective develops tools and frameworks designed first to help Black women protect themselves at work, while translating those lessons into insights that support the broader community at large. Through Backbone Theory, I examine the structural patterns behind attrition, burnout, and cultural breakdown. My work includes the Backbone Brief, the Backbone Audit, and the Black Women Workplace Protection Kit, tools that turn workplace realities into clear frameworks for recognizing instability and sustaining impact.
The TW Collective is the work of Army veteran, industrial and organizational psychologist, and doctoral candidate Tishayla J. Williams. Her background spans public administration, social work, and compliance, translating the experiences of Black women in the workplace into insights organizations and communities cannot afford to ignore.
